I am almost reluctant to say what a great place this is for fear that it will be over-run! Terrific amenities, wonderfully gracious and friendly hosts and a tranquil, country setting just far enough out to expose every star in the sky. Let me say that the weather did not cooperate but that we could have cared less! It was a great family experience that every one of our picky, hard to please group was left asking “When can we do this again?” Absolutely no negatives! Love this little slice of heaven!
A shout out to the Rocking Horse Retreat for an A+ rating on our recent visit! Along with a very clean and comfortable cottage, we loved the extra bonuses of nature- beautiful flowers, numerous cardinals and even a deer! To complete a great stay- the host were so friendly, kind and extra gracious! We are already looking forward to and planning our next stay there!!!
Darra Robertson …. what a delightful, restful, inspiring treat my visit was in June 2015. The hosts were so accommodating, every cable channel that was needed, great internet connection, tasty fresh eggs and some of the biggest cows I had ever seen.
