Texas Ranger Day and Big Star TX Night

Dance under the stars in historic Burton, Texas at the 2nd annual Texas Ranger Day and a Big Star Texas Night on Saturday, August 11, 2012. Celebrate Burton’s history with a day full of activities for the whole family. Fajita and Bean cook-off at the Burton Train Depot, 507 N Railroad Street, experience Texas Ranger Camp life in the 1880’s, enjoy folk life demonstrations, crafts, games and tours of the historic Depot. Have your family photo taken pioneer style by Old Time Photography. Street dance that night will showcase TEXAS MUSIC ARTISTS Neil Kulhanek on Main Street at 7pm followed by a Live Auction and music legend Gary P. Nunn on stage at 9pm. Proceeds benefit the Burton Heritage Society and the Burton Chamber of Commerce.
